I’ve built a few things and love these floating shelves, the rustic wood mixed with the modern design and the thickness. Use your nail gun to attach the front trim piece to the top piece and side supports, making sure the top of the front trim piece is flush with the top of the shelf. Floating shelves are a clever illusion: A wood box held up by a hidden wood board.
