The composite material for these shelves was ripped to 12 inches wide using a circular saw and rip fence. Our top shelves are 40” across the back of the closet. So i designed and built custom diy closet shelves, gave everything a fresh coat of paint, and now it is perfect! So, i think this is a pretty awesome deal!
